Before beginning the firmware updating process, please back up any important footage on your dashcam's MicroSD card. The card will be wiped during the update process.

Ensure that the MicroSD is inserted into your dashcam. Turn on your dashcam and press the Menu button and then go to Storage. Click Format to format the MicroSD card.

Turn off the dashcam and remove the MicroSD card.

Download the latest firmware and copy the firmware file to the root of the MicroSD card.

Insert the MicroSD card back into the dashcam and turn it on. You will see a short loading screen that indicates that it is updating.

After it is done updating, it will ask for your preferred language and timezone setting.

After you set this, go back to Menu > Storage and Format the MicroSD card one more time. This will delete the firmware file on the card so that the dashcam does not try to update itself every time it starts up. The dashcam is now ready to be used.
